Ancestors to Ammonites, the Orthoceras are extinct sea creatures dating back 500 to 190 million years ago. Their shells would fall to the ocean floors where they would eventually be covered in sediment & be preserved in black limestone. They encourage the gathering of knowledge about all aspects of life & surrounding environment, and can also help in bringing innovation & openness to the mind.
