Celtic Pentagram (gold plated) – (ID: sg12)
The Pentagram (or Pentacle) is a symbol that has survived for more than 6,000 years. Penta is a Greek prefix meaning five. The five points of the Pentagram symbolise the four elements – earth, fire, water & air, combined with spirit, being the fifth element. It is a symbol that unifies the five elemental energies into perfect balance, & is believed to have come from Atlantis.
The Pentagram is used in Wicca, Shamanism, Druidism and other Neopagan belief systems to invoke the spiritual reality above & within all material manifestations. It can be worn as a talisman for attunement or as an affirmation of self-empowerment.
The Pentagram is used as a symbol of reverence for nature & active ecology, veneration for the Goddess, whether she is with or without a consort, elements of a variety of ancient mythologies, and a belief in magic coming from the Universal Spirit.
It is also believed to symbolise that every moment is a miracle, and that reincarnation, and karma allow for fairness to prevail.
