The Tree of Life symbolises the balance & harmony within nature.

To the Celts, the Tree of Life represented wisdom, strength & a long life.

It represents rebirth, just as a tree will shed its leaves in the fall, hibernate in the winter, & be reborn with new leaves in the spring.

The Tree of Life is said to unite the upper & lower worlds, with its roots reaching deep into the worlds below, whilst its branches grow up towards the worlds above, and the truck connecting the two worlds on the Earth’s plane. It is through this connection that gods in the heavens can communicate with those of the underworld & on Earth’s plane.
Ancient Celts believed that they came from the trees, & thus regarded trees as living, magical beings, guarding the lands & being a doorway into the Spirit Worlds.
