Metaphysical Properties:
Ancestors to Ammonites, the Orthoceras are extinct sea creatures dating back 500 to 190 million years ago. The shells would fall to the ocean floors where they would eventually be covered in sediment and be preserved in black limestone. They encourage the gathering of knowledge about all aspects of life and surrounding environment. They can also help in bringing innovation and openness in the mind.
