Sun and Moon (gold plated) – (ID: sg16)

Symbolically the Sun and Moon are known to represent a merging of opposites, unity, and cooperation, instead of conflict, and rebirth. They are usually in the shape of a circle, with half of the circle taken over by the Moon, and the other half by the Sun.  Circles represent Infinity, and in this case the never-ending Cycle of Life.

By placing a half Moon and half Sun inside a circle, the Sun is often recognised as a symbol of rebirth, strength and power, whilst the Moon is associated with the female, universally representing the rhythm of time, symbolising immortality, & enlightenment.
